HTP 3050 Hydrostatic Tank Probe, i.e., Mass Tank Gauge
HTP 3050 is the proper way Hydrostatic Tank Gauges should have been engineered and designed back in 1980 moving forward. Provides Mass, Spot temperatures, and Density. A Hydrostatic Tank Probe that uses five absolute pressure transducers and Class A, 100 Ohm Platinum, Four-wire RTD’s installed within a bottom referenced probe. The HTP 3050 probe is installed from the top of the tank and magnetically coupled to the bottom or datum plate; no hot taps, valves, heat trace or tubing; Eliminates all common HTG errors due to physical design and installation, i.e., only one reference density, level inaccuracy, outside wall mounting transducers causing errors, calibration frequency, etc.
NOTE: MTG is the only gauge to our knowledge to have passed OIML R-125 Testing and have a formal letter of acceptance of this standard.
