Density

Strata is the space between two vertically mounted sensor housings within an MTG probe.  The distance between sensor housing has a direct effect on Level, Density, and Water.

All Standard MTG’s (3050, 3012) have the capability of providing Multi-strata density.  The number of density strata is dependent upon the number of sensors (Less two), i.e., an MTG 3012 could have up to Ten (10) density strata.  The number of density strata is dependent upon tank height, maximum fill level, and application data reviewed in the MTG Questionnaire.

Redundant gauges (3055, 3018, 3024, and Virtual) can also be used to provide more density strata from a tank.
