A couple of weeks ago we had a customer call and cancel an order they placed days earlier for a GSI 2570 mechanical gauge kit.
When asked why they were cancelling the GSI order, they said that they finally received an order that was placed two plus years ago with a vary well-known tank gauging vendor.
We told them not to worry about a restocking charge even though we had just boxed their order and it was ready for shipment (within three days).
A week later the customer called and saying they could not get the other vendors gauge working. We offered a repair kit we designed for that series of our competitors gauge head, however, instead they wished to reinstate the GSI order for the GSI 2570 mechanical gauge kit.
Two weeks later we called the customer back to check on the delivery. They told us it was received, installed, and working correctly straight out of the box.
